Cast Member Mike. He was our host on the Golden Zephyr.

A Bug's Land, previously known as the "Bountiful Valley" area of DCA. This land is an expansion, with rides geared towards the little ones. DCA wasn't known for its child friendly rides upon opening last year. It's officially opening in October, but we were there for a soft opening. All the rides were going. We went on the bumper cars and boy, are they slow. I told Brian a six pack would have livened it up a bit. But it's fun for the kids and no one is going to get hurt. We also went on the "Chew Chew Train". Hahahahaha!! Boy, is it slooow....like I said, aimed at the young ones. But what was neat, was the smell-o-rama effect.

DCA closes at eight. We made our way over to Burrbank and got double scoops of ice cream in waffle cones, ate them as we watched the Electric Light Parade go by, then made our way over to Disneyland, which was open until ten.

I took this standing in line at the Orbitron.

Sleeping Beauty's Castle from the Orbitron line. I really have to practice taking night pictures with my camera. The Disney Resort is so special at night with all of the lights.

We shared a car, which we know from experience is a mistake. Those cars aren't made for wide loads. But it was fun. I tried taking some shots from the ride itself, but none turned out.
