The stained glass entry doors to the hotel
Once back at the room, we took our showers, then had a quick breakfast of cold cereal. Then it was off to the park. Today, we would do Disneyland. I brought extra pinwheels, because you just never know when someone might have forgotten theirs from the previous year (or their cats peed on them). And, we had some new members of the crew, who needed their own headbands.
The group. From left to right:
Jon, AJ, Susan, Sal, Sally, Eric, Liz and Jennifer.
All but Sal were the recipients of the complimentary passes.
Our first ride was, of course, Space Mountain. And it was running. In the past, they've had some really good music that goes along with the ride, but there were too many problems with it and it's been turned off. Until the new cars are online. I sure hope that's soon. The music was awesome. It can be found on the latest Disneyland music CD.
Little Fud (Jon). I told Brian on our way home, if we'd ever had a kid, I'd have wanted it to be a boy. And I'd want him to be just like Jon. This youngun was so much fun and not at all embarrassed to be with adults, no matter how hard we tried.
Mr. Fud (Eric), father of Little Fud. Mr. Fud is a great sport.
